Cap nails are a recommended best practice for securing roofing underlayments of felt and house wrap where nails are required. Each plastic cap offers superior holding power to the traditional staple, while also diverting water away from the fastener opening. This means more secure underlayment and extra protection against water damage. The 1 in.
