| Description: | Our NEWHOUSE ELECTRIC 13/16 in. 14 Gauge Metal Strut Channel is a standard half-slot metal U-bracket for supporting and framing light-weight structural loads on your construction site. You can use it for a variety of applications, including pipe, conduit, ceiling grids, racks, duct and cable tray supports, trapeze supports, seismic bracing and other general framing uses. Labor and materials are at a premium on any building site. Our strut channels are designed to help you get the maximum number of framing and support applications with the minimum amount of labor and pieces. Our channel struts have smooth surfaces, free from steel scales. They have an electro-galvanized zinc finish that helps reinforce strength and resist corrosion. All of our fittings meet or exceed physical properties of ASTM A1011 GR 33 for elasticity, plasticity, stiffness, aging sensitivity, strength, hardness, impact toughness, fatigue strength and fracture toughness. You can reinforce nearly any light load structure with the firm assurance that your properly measured and fitted steel U-channels will hold better than expected.
