Description:	Tekton's impact external star (E-star) sockets are made from 50BV30 chromium- vanadium steel that's heat-treated to 4047 HRC for use on impact wrenches. The socket is also coated with a manganese phosphate finish to resist corrosion. The inside of the socket's drive end has smooth walls with no detent grooves to support engagement with drive tools that use friction ring anvils. A detent pin hole on one side of the drive end also supports engagement with detent pin anvil styles. * Precise E-Star Geometry The internal six-lobe geometry is designed for a high-torque fit that resists slipping * Made from Cr-V Steel The chromium-vanadium socket is heat-treated to 4047 HRC for use on impact wrenches * Corrosion-Resistant The socket is coated with a manganese phosphate finish to resist corrosion * Two Size Markings The size is marked with a high-visibility laser marking and a permanent stamped marking that won't rub off * Friction Ring or Detent Pin Anvils Smooth walls inside the drive end and a detent pin hole make the bit sockets compatible with both drive tool anvil types * Socket Rail The twist-to-lock clips on the rail hold sockets securely and can be repositioned anywhere along the rail * 12-pc 3/8 in drive external star impacy sockets: E4, E5, E6, E7, E8, E10, E11, E12, E14, E16, E18, E20 * 13 inch socket rail
