When a deck board is face fastened, the head of the screw or nail is keeping your board in place. Edge fastening leverages the strength of the entire screw to hold your deck board in place. The MARKSMAN system makes it easy to edge fasten. Simply set the tool, drop your fasteners in each fastener slot, and drive. The MARKSMAN tool offers a built-in spacer to keep your board gaps consistent throughout your entire installation.
