Description:	Created in 1960 by expert Dairy Masters at Lattebusche in Veneto, Italy, this magnificent cheese is well known and highly appreciated all over the world. Piave Vecchio (meaning Aged) enhances the already sweet, rich flavor of young Piave through the process of maturing. It has the texture of a young Parmigiano-Reggiano, not crystalline yet nor dry enough for grating, but heading in that direction. It has the toasted walnut character of Gruyere and the caramel-like sweetness of an aged Gouda. Produced entirely from milk from the mountainous part of Veneto, Lattebusche Piave Cheese, 1 lb., served as a table cheese or shredded over polenta, is an ideal choice for anyone who enjoys healthy, all-natural, traditional Northern Italian food. Pair with wine, honey or jams of excellent quality. on your next cheese board. For wines, pair with a prosecco or a Valpolicella will go nicely as well as a cabernet sauvignon. We always suggest that the wine should have the same strength as the cheese. Serving suggestion: Allow your cheese to reach room temperature (remove from refrigeration about one hour before serving) as cheese is best experienced at room temperature to enjoy the full spectrum of flavors.!
