| Description: | Skinless, choice, boned salted Pollock fillets with no additives. Used mostly in stews and soups. Need to be de-salted when prepared. Also considered to one of the Seven fishes for Christmas. Great lent and Holiday item. Preparation instructions: Rinse 16 oz. (454g) of fish in cold water, removing all loose salt. Soak the fish in 6 cups (1.5 liters) of fresh water and place in the refrigerator for 8 hours, changing the water three times. Cook according to your favorite recipe. |
