| Description: | SET-3G is an epoxy-based anchoring adhesive with high design strength and proven performance. The adhesive is a 1:1 ratio, two-component, anchoring adhesive formulated for anchoring threaded rod and rebar into concrete (cracked and uncracked). This low-odor adhesive is a uniform gray color when mixed properly and has a substrate installation temperature range from 40F (4C) to 100F (38C). SET-3G installs and performs in a variety of environmental conditions and temperature extremes and is suitable for use in dry concrete, water-saturated concrete, water-filled holes and submerged concrete. * Exceptional performance superior bond-strength values at long-term elevated temperature of 110-degree Fahrenheit (43-degree Celsius) using optimized drill bit diameters * Recognized per ICC-ES AC308 for post-installed rebar development and splice length design provisions * Design flexibility can be specified for dry or water-saturated conditions when temperatures range from -40-degree Fahrenheit (-40-degree Celsius) to 176-degree Fahrenheit (80-degree Celsius) * Jobsite versatility can be installed in dry, water-saturated or water-filled holes in base materials with temperatures between 40-degree Fahrenheit (4-degree Celsius) and 100-degree Fahrenheit (38-degree Celsius) * Manufactured in the USA using global materials * 22-oz side-by-side cartridge * Approved for installation with multiple vacuum-drill bit systems without further hole cleaning; see Code Report (ESR-4057) for approved systems * Use only Simpson Strong-Tie mixing nozzles in accordance with Simpson Strong-Tie instructions; modification or improper use of mixing nozzle may impair SET-3G adhesive performance * (1) EMN22i mixing nozzle and (1) nozzle extension are supplied with each cartridge |
