Rice (61%), Blackgram Dal, Wheat Cream, Salt, Beaten Rice, Fenugreek, Malic Acid (Acidulant) and Sodium Bicarbonate (Leavening Agent), Hydrogenated Vegetable Oil. Directions Mix 1 measure of MTR instant uttppam mix and 1-1/2 measures of water into a smooth batter. Alternately, prepare batter with 1/2 measure of sour curds and 1 measure of water. Set aside for 10 minutes. Drop one cup of batter on a heated tava. Add a spoonful of ghee or oil, garnish with chopped onion, tomato, green chili and coriander leaves. Fry both sides on low flame. Rub the tava gently with damp cloth to cool the surface. Repeat the above step. Measure referred in the recipe means any cup or container used as per your convenience. Serve hot with chutney, sambar or sagu. |
